SECOND NaCoMi TINY TITANS TALK
This edition takes you to the frontiers of microbiology where microbes are: unexpected, unexplored and often…unbelievable. From strange adaptations to unseen interactions, our speakers will share the passion behind their discoveries-not just what they found, but why it matters and how it changed their perspectives. The panel of presentations will cover: Arbuscular mycorrhiza, Archaea, Bdelloid rotifers, Chytridiomycosis, Cyanobacteria, Diatoms, Giant viruses, Komagataella Yeasts, Planctomycetota, and Space microbiology.

FIRST NaCoMi TINY TITANS TALK
This year NaCoMi launched its very first ‘NaCoMi Tiny Titans Talks’ during which leading experts uncovered the extraordinary – and often unexpected – ways microbes have influenced life as we know it. The Tiny Titans Talk is not just another scientific meeting. This first edition was a deep dive into the invisible world that has been steering evolution, ecosystems, and health across millennia. “The ‘Tiny Titan Talk’ unleashed the hidden power of microbes, revealing how Earth’s smallest organisms have driven the evolution and adaptation of humans, animals, and plants.
